ARCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to provide premier residential and vocational services to people with developmental disabilities. ARCA offers a comprehensive array of critical support services, including community and family living, supported employment, specialized services, and community inclusion for the over 500 children and adults. ARCA was founded in 1957, and has grown to be the largest non-profit service provider of its kind. ARCA relies on government funding and donor support to continue 50-year tradition of service excellence in designing and implementing innovative services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Challenge:

Because of the nature of the personalized services ARCA provides, ARCA staff members often work in diverse remote locations, which do not provide any access to the ARCA’s Wide Area Network. So it was imperative, that in their search for a time and attendance solution, a key requirement was to provide an easy way for these remote employees to record their worked hours.

Solution:

Employee Based Systems was the only company which, in addition to Web Time Sheet and Web based punch clock applications, also had a system called Tele Punch, which enabled entering time punches over any telephone handset.

Efficiency:

Because ARCA had so much success with the EBSTime module, they also decided to purchase the Scheduling module. The addition of this module enabled ARCA to create and track all the schedules for their remote corporate employees in an integrated manner with their time and attendance system.
